In December 2011, a team of staff members from the Management Department at UConn's School of Business created a UConn Reads-themed gingerbread house for the Annual Winter Holiday Celebration's Gingerbread Decorating Competition.
The UConn Reads program looks forward to connecting diverse members of the University community through a dynamic and meaningful campus-wide book discussion. Throughout the year, the University of Connecticut will host a variety of events and activities, culminating in a major campus address by the author of the chosen book.
